Kimonos - Lightweight Yet Strong

We use a 450 gsm pearl weave for most of our kimonos.  What we found from nearly a decade of making kimonos is that this weight is this most optimal for comfort and durability.  It’s not so heavy that you’re going to feel like you’re drowning in a wet heavy blanket after a few rolls, but at the same time, it’s going to last you a long time and take all the abuse you can throw at it.  Add to that reinforced stitching and quality craftsmanship and you get a BJJ kimono that is amazingly strong but still lightweight. Details 

We pay attention to the details.  That's why we obsess over every patch, stitch, and label that goes on to the kimono.  We work to find just the right balance of style without going over the top. It’s no wonder our kimonos look so good on the mats.
